Poppies and Peony

My gardens are my inspiration for many of my silk paintings.  

I have chosen 100% Habotai silk as my canvas for my silk paintings. I use a French technique called Serti to create the images. Using Procion dyes I paint the flowers onto the sik. Watching the colors explode across the silk is exhilarating. The silk fabric adds a luster to the painting that is unque to this medium.

This piece is framed and ready to hang in your home or office.
